Developer

Salary: £67,000 - 72,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python and Bash, particularly in connecting backend systems and building CLI tooling
• Cloud networking and computing concepts, particularly in AWS
• Experience working in a DevOps team
• Containerisation technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of security principles involved in cloud computing technologies
• Ability to give concise explanations of complex technical topics to other members of a DevOps team
• Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills to build new solutions from the ground up
• Backend system development experience
• Data management and transformation experience
• Familiarity with Threat Intelligence tooling and platforms, such as OpenCTI or MISP
• Familiarity with STIX2/TAXII2 standards
• Experience working on open-source software
• Additional programming, scripting, or development experience

Responsibilities:

• Build, deploy, secure, monitor, and maintain our existing Python application extensions and CLI tooling
• Connect diverse backend systems together to break down siloed data repositories
• Bridge the technical gap between our developers, engineers, and analysts by providing automations and tooling
• Support engineers, developers, and analysts by providing robust support for automatable processes
• Identify automation opportunities within our department
