Job Description

Salary: £57,000 - 97,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about building internal tools and creating foundational systems that help others excel.
  • We want someone who understands the machine learning product lifecycle and how to move models efficiently from exploration to production.
  • We are looking for strong systems programming skills in Python or Go, with the ability to choose the best technology for complex infrastructure challenges.
  • We want practical experience with containerisation and orchestration, specifically Docker and Kubernetes for managing distributed systems at scale.
  • We are looking for a strong background in Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, with a deep interest in DevSecOps practices.
  • We want someone who thrives in small, ambitious teams, takes high ownership, and communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical peers.
Responsibilities:
  • We will own our existing deployment and MLOps tooling to keep software delivery a key driver of quality and reliability.
  • We will contribute to the evolution of our technology stack, including new features in notebook development environments and improved model monitoring systems.
  • We will collaborate with a small, fast-moving team of customer-facing technologists to design and build the infrastructure our delivery teams need.
  • We will design and implement infrastructure as code and DevSecOps processes for distributed, containerised microservices architectures.
  • We will integrate our core platform services across multiple cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, to support our global clients.
  • We will scale our internal enablement capabilities and remove technical friction to accelerate machine learning deployment.
