Startup Solutions Architect

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent experience in a professional field or military setting.
• We require experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or internet industries.
• We require experience in one or more technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
• We require experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructure.
• We require experience communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
• We prefer knowledge of cloud architecture.
• We prefer experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
• We prefer experience working with end-user or developer communities.

Responsibilities:

• We work directly with customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice architectures aligned to their long-term business outcomes.
• We act as trusted advisors for startups, working backward from customer priorities and finding inventive ways to add value with AWS and our partners technology.
• We capture and share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap for new AWS features and services.
• We contribute to technical content and reference architectures such as white papers, code samples, and blog posts.
• We evangelize and educate customers about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, and conferences.
• We collaborate with customers to design and operate well-architected solutions.
• We partner with internal teams and experts to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that solve customer business problems.
• We support AWS startups as they build and scale their businesses, helping them deploy secure and cost-effective architectures.
• We continuously learn, innovate, and develop deeper expertise in relevant technical domains.
