Requirements:

• Relevant qualification and proven delivery experience as a Solutions Architect.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt quickly in a changing environment.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in higher education or a research-intensive environment is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Assess functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create high-level solution designs, including data flows and integrations.
• Develop low-level designs to support delivery teams.
• Work with the Technical Design Authority to meet assurance and compliance requirements.
• Support the Enterprise Architect in developing the Research Administration domain blueprint.
• Advise the Research Enablement Portfolio team on appropriate solution options.

We support a portfolio of research-focused technology initiatives and need someone to help assess business and technical requirements, produce high- and low-level solution designs, and ensure our proposed solutions align with architecture standards, assurance requirements, and the wider Research Administration domain roadmap.
