Middleware Architect

Requirements:

• We require active BPSS and/or SC clearance, or eligibility for both.
• We are looking for a lead middleware architect with experience managing technical integrations between leading engineering systems and SAP S/4HANA.
• We require knowledge of SAP PLMSI.
• We prefer candidates with 10 years of experience in complex SAP/Siemens integration projects.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you act as the lead architect for the project end to end.
• You will lead middleware architecture for technical integrations between engineering systems and SAP S/4HANA.
• You will produce a GAP analysis report covering what the standard middleware product can and cannot do, along with proposed solutions and high-level design documentation for the client.
• You will define non-functional and performance testing requirements, scenarios, and scripts.
• You will manage third parties and client teams to produce deliverables in line with the project plan and contract.

We are offering a 5-month contract role based in Barrow-in-Furness on a hybrid basis, requiring 2 to 3 days onsite every two weeks. The role is inside IR35 and umbrella engagement only, with market-rate pay. We are seeking someone to take ownership of a critical middleware architecture project, working with engineering systems and SAP S/4HANA in a collaborative environment with third parties and client teams.
