Requirements:- Active SC Clearance.
- Strong commercial experience in bespoke systems integration.
- Proven experience integrating systems with third-party applications and services.
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience.
- Strong development experience with C#/.NET or a comparable programming language.
- Experience working with APIs and web services.
- Good understanding of integration patterns and software development principles.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative Agile environment.
- Experience with Python is desirable.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs is desirable.
- Experience with microservices and cloud-native development is desirable.
- Experience with Azure integration services is desirable.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices is desirable.
- Experience integrating legacy and modern systems is desirable.
- Experience working within large, complex or highly regulated organisations is desirable.
- Design and develop bespoke integration solutions between multiple systems and platforms.
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party applications and services.
- Build and support cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Develop integration components and applications using C#/.NET or another suitable programming language.
- Work with APIs, web services and other integration technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and application issues.
- Work closely with developers, architects, technical teams and stakeholders to deliver integration solutions.
- Contribute to technical design, documentation and development standards.
- Support testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of integration services.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reliable and maintainable.

We are hiring a Senior API/Integration Developer for a major public sector technology programme on an initial 7-month contract. This is a London / hybrid role with 2-3 days per week on site and offers a day rate of £550 inside IR35. Due to the nature of the role and client, the selected candidate must have active SC clearance. We are a specialist technical recruitment consultancy supporting complex technology programmes across the UK.
