Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
• We require at least 10 years of experience in Cyber Security and Information Security.
• We require at least 5 years of experience as a Security Architect.
• We need proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Zero Trust transformation programmes.
• We need a strong background in defence, aerospace, government, or other highly regulated sectors.
• We require deep expertise in Zero Trust Architecture principles and implementation methodologies.
• We require strong knowledge of NIST 800-207 and modern security architecture frameworks.
• We need expert understanding of Identity & Access Management technologies.
• We need experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, and PAM solutions.
• We need a strong understanding of network security, micro-segmentation, and secure access technologies.
• We require proficiency in cloud security across Azure, AWS, or equivalent platforms.
• We need knowledge of security technologies including SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, CASB, ZTNA, WAF, and firewalls.
• We need an understanding of cryptography, encryption standards, and secure communication protocols.
• We need familiarity with MOD security requirements, defence standards, and accreditation processes.
• We need knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls frameworks.

• We lead micro-segmentation and least privilege initiatives across enterprise environments.
• We design holistic security architectures that incorporate people, process, and technology.
• We develop enterprise-wide security strategies aligned with Defence Security Policy requirements.
• We architect defence-in-depth security solutions across network, cloud, endpoint, and application layers.
• We lead security architecture reviews and technical security assessments.
• We develop security standards, reference architectures, and design patterns.
• We architect and implement enterprise IAM, MFA, and Single Sign-On solutions.
• We design Conditional Access and Privileged Access Management capabilities.
• We lead identity governance and administration initiatives.
• We develop secure authentication and authorisation frameworks.
• We assess cyber threat landscapes and design threat-informed security architectures.
• We lead security risk assessments and vulnerability management programmes.

We are seeking a highly experienced Security Architect to join us on a permanent, full-time basis in Farnborough, Hampshire, UK. This role focuses on Zero Trust Architecture and secure enterprise transformation within defence and highly regulated environments.
