IT Systems & Projects Engineer

Salary: £42,000 - 42,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced IT professional with a background in IT Support, Systems Administration or Infrastructure.
• We ideally want experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory administration.
• We want experience in Windows environments and IT infrastructure.
• We ideally want experience with ERP, WMS or other business systems.
• We want experience working with third-party IT providers.
• We want experience supporting or leading IT projects such as software implementations, upgrades or migrations.
• We want experience in process improvement and documenting IT procedures.
• We want strong Excel skills and confidence working with business data.
• We want troubleshooting experience across multiple systems and applications.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, logistics or another multi-site environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Responsibilities:

• We provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support across the business.
• We manage Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments.
• We support and maintain business-critical systems including ERP, WMS and other web-based applications.
• We work with external IT suppliers to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
• We take an active role in IT projects, including software implementations, upgrades, system migrations and process improvements.
• We understand how data flows between systems, troubleshoot issues and ensure information remains accurate.
• We support infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity initiatives.
• We produce system documentation, test new functionality and support successful project delivery.
• We identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology.
• We support users across multiple sites and participate in an on-call rota when required.
