Capability Integration Governance Lead

Salary: £48,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need 3-5 years experience in a governance-related role.
• We need a strong understanding of governance, risk, scheduling and process management.
• We need experience supporting project controls within infrastructure or major programmes.
• We need experience engaging and managing stakeholders.
• We need the ability to analyse complex information and present concise recommendations.
• We need strong organisational and leadership skills.
• We need experience working within collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
• We need strong Microsoft 365 skills.
• We need experience using reporting and project management tools such as Power BI and Jira.
• We require sole UK nationality.
• We need the ability to obtain or hold SC Security Clearance.
• We need willingness to undertake regular onsite working as required by programme needs.
• We would ideally like relevant programme governance and major project delivery experience.
• Relevant qualifications include APM Chartered Project Professional (ChPP), APMG Project Planning and Control Practitioner, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programs (MSP) Practitioner, or PMI Project Management Professional (PMP).

Responsibilities:

• We develop and maintain RACI matrices and programme ways of working.
• We develop and maintain process maps.
• We support the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and desk instructions.
• We ensure governance activities operate effectively and comply with agreed processes.
• We develop stakeholder engagement plans using appropriate analysis and profiling techniques.
• We lead stakeholder analysis activities, identifying key stakeholder groups and engagement requirements.
• We ensure appropriate communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• We analyse programme change requests and assess impacts.
• We ensure compliance with established change control processes.
• We escalate instances of non-compliance where necessary.
• We maintain programme change control records and logs.
• We ensure decision papers are supported by robust documentation and analysis.
• We coordinate governance approvals and decision submissions.
• We track decisions and ensure outcomes are communicated and recorded appropriately.
• We maintain programme decision logs.
• We implement and manage knowledge management processes.
• We ensure compliance with organisational information management standards.
• We support document governance and information-control activities.
• We lead lessons learned activities and maintain lessons learned registers.
