Graduate Wireless Electronic Engineer / Software Developer
Job Description
Salary: £36,000 - 36,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for curious, analytical, and technically minded graduates, particularly from Physics and mathematically intensive STEM backgrounds.
- We welcome candidates with degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering disciplines, Computer Science, or other STEM subjects with a strong mathematical and analytical focus.
- A Bachelors degree is required.
- We prefer candidates with familiarity with signal processing or Fourier transforms.
- We prefer candidates with around 1 year of experience in signal processing.
- We prefer candidates with around 1 year of experience in C++.
- You must have work authorisation in the United Kingdom.
- You must be able to undergo UK Security Vetting.
- We will train you through a 12-week intensive programme before you join a project team.
- We will help you learn signal processing and algorithms.
- We will teach you computer architectures and embedded systems.
- We will develop your C++ programming skills for high-performance applications.
- We will introduce you to DevOps tools and workflows.
- We will show you how to apply physical modelling and mathematical reasoning to real engineering challenges.
- You will take part in onsite induction, networking, and introductory learning during Week 1.
- You will complete remote technical and consultative training, including structured learning and guided self-study during Weeks 2 to 6.
- You will train onsite in a live project environment in Guildford during Weeks 7 to 12.
- You will solve complex, open-ended technical problems.
- You will experiment with technology through coding projects, electronics, simulations, and similar work.
- You will take initiative and explore new concepts independently.
- You will learn advanced technical ideas quickly.
- You will work collaboratively and independently.
- You will maintain strong attention to detail and support precision engineering work.
- You will ask questions, suggest improvements, and build rapport across diverse disciplines.

You will join our Guildford-based team through NETbuilder, starting with a 12-week training programme delivered partly remote and partly onsite before moving into an onsite placement in Guildford.
