Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin, Java and JVM technologies
• Expertise with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling
• Exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, or Nunjucks
• Passion for engineering excellence and collaborative delivery
• Consultancy or Central Government experience
• Able to work within travelling distance of Leeds or Manchester, with occasional client-site visits as required

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of high-quality, user-focused software solutions
• Build robust back-end services using Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Work closely with product, delivery, design, and data specialists to solve complex challenges
• Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and cloud-native solutions
• Mentor and support the growth of fellow engineers
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to stakeholders and clients
• Design, build, and deliver secure, scalable solutions within multidisciplinary Agile teams
• Lead by example and drive engineering best practice across complex digital projects
