Security Architect D365

Salary: £130,000 - 143,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for proven experience operating as a Security Architect within large-scale transformation or change programmes.
• We need a strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity architecture principles and secure-by-design approaches.
• We require experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 security architecture, governance, or implementation programmes.
• We need knowledge of D365 security models, role-based access control, and integration security considerations.
• We require experience with Microsoft cloud technologies including Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft security tooling.
• We need a strong background in security assurance, risk management, and architecture governance.
• We need the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and technical delivery teams.
• Desirable: experience within regulated or security-sensitive environments.
• Desirable: knowledge of Zero Trust principles.
• Desirable: familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CAF, or similar security frameworks.
• Desirable: experience securing complex SaaS platforms and enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities:

• We will develop and review cybersecurity architecture across enterprise systems, networks, and cloud platforms.
• We will provide security architecture guidance for Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations and integrations.
• We will assess the impact of D365, associated interfaces, and third-party integrations on our overall security posture.
• We will support the design and implementation of secure Identity and Access Management solutions, including role-based access models.
• We will ensure solutions meet security requirements across multiple data classifications and geographic regions.
• We will produce security architecture documentation throughout the programme lifecycle.
• We will conduct security assurance reviews and identify security gaps, risks, and areas of non-compliance.
• We will support the development of Security Risk Management Plans and remediation activities.
• We will define and document security controls for systems, applications, and networks.
• We will ensure secure configuration management practices are adopted across programme delivery.
• We will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, and Governance teams to support risk management, compliance, and technology assurance processes.

We are supporting a major transformation programme and seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead the security design and assurance of enterprise platforms, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and wider business-critical technology services. This is an outside IR35 contract at £500-£550 per day for an initial six-month term, based in Kent with two days per week on site. We work closely with Enterprise Architecture, technology teams, and programme stakeholders to ensure security is embedded throughout delivery, and we value respect, equality, partnership, and diversity in everything we do.
