Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong infrastructure background, ideally gained within an MSP
• Experience across Microsoft infrastructure, virtualisation, networking and cloud technologies
• Track record of delivering projects and supporting complex environments
• Customer-focused approach with real ownership of work
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team

Responsibilities:

• Deliver infrastructure projects, migrations and upgrades across customer environments
• Provide technical consultancy and senior-level support when required
• Work closely with customers to understand their requirements
• Troubleshoot complex issues
• See projects through from design to delivery
• Contribute to technical documentation
• Help improve internal processes where opportunities arise
• Support the wider engineering team by sharing knowledge
• Act as an escalation point for more technical challenges

We offer a salary of £55,000 - £65,000 plus benefits including 24 days annual leave, 8 bank holidays, private healthcare and dental, and a birthday off. The role is based in Chorley with 4 days a week in the office, and there is occasional travel to customer sites and data centres.
