Business Intelligence Officer

Salary: £36,333.6 - 46,022.4 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in supporting business intelligence functions, including data collection, data analysis, performance monitoring, reporting, benchmarking, inspection, organisational strategy, business planning, consultation, research and needs analysis.
• Strong ability to analyse and interpret data to identify patterns, trends and data quality issues.
• Experience producing weekly and monthly datasets, analyses, reports and presentations using a range of reporting tools.
• Ability to provide advice and guidance to managers on performance improvement and intelligence issues.
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
• Ability to manage own workload and meet key deadlines throughout the year.
• Ability to support the development of innovative KPIs and metrics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• We support the planning, development, improvement and implementation of our business intelligence functions.
• We collect, analyse and report on data to support performance monitoring, benchmarking and strategic planning.
• We build excellent relationships with internal and external customers to anticipate and respond to their needs.
• We communicate performance information through verbal updates, written datasets, reports and presentations.
• We help develop innovative KPIs and metrics to support our strategy and vision.
• We use reporting tools to produce weekly and monthly datasets and analyses.
• We analyse and interpret data to identify patterns, trends and data quality issues to support strategic and operational decision making.
• We advise and guide managers on performance improvement and intelligence issues.
• We work with colleagues and managers to identify and influence performance improvement actions.
• We manage our own work in line with the team work programme to meet deadlines.
