Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience in a professional field or military.
  • We require experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or internet industries.
  • We require experience in a specific technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • We require experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • We require experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
  • We prefer experience working with end-user or developer communities.
  • We prefer experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
Responsibilities:
  • We collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training, and support teams to help customers learn about and use DynamoDB.
  • We provide guidance to customers on choosing the right database services and approaches.
  • We act as a trusted collaborator for the DynamoDB service team and represent the voice of the customer in defining and prioritizing service features.
  • We lead enablement by training Solutions Architects, Professional Services Consultants, and Technical Account Managers.
  • We capture and share best-practice knowledge with customers and the worldwide AWS solutions architect community.
  • We contribute to the AWS Database Blog, service documentation, and reference architectures.
  • We present at industry events to educate customers and evangelize AWS and DynamoDB.
  • We work alongside a team of NoSQL specialists across DocumentDB, Neptune, Keyspaces, ElastiCache, and MemoryDB to help customers design purpose-built database architectures.
  • We design customer solutions for modern workloads, including agentic AI applications, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, and event-driven pipelines.
  • We design partition strategies, define GSI patterns, and explain where DynamoDB fits within broader architectures.
  • We build reference architectures, present to engineering leadership, and contribute to internal enablement across the specialist team.
  • We share patterns and insights across database boundaries to support other specialist engagements.
