Test Analyst

Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience as a Test Analyst or in a similar software testing role
• Experience leading testing activities and taking ownership of deliverables
• Knowledge of functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing
• Experience using tools such as Jira and TestRail
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A structured approach to problem-solving and quality assurance
• Confidence explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments
• ISTQB Foundation qualification is beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities:

• Lead testing activities across projects and system changes
• Design and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts
• Carry out functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing
• Manage defects through to resolution using tools such as Jira and TestRail
• Support and guide business users through the UAT process
• Monitor testing progress and clearly communicate risks, issues and outcomes
• Contribute to improving testing standards, processes and ways of working
• Work with Business Analysts, Project Managers, suppliers and business stakeholders to support quality delivery
