Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year

Requirements:

• Advanced analytical skills, typically evidenced by a degree in maths, physics, computer science, engineering, or a similar discipline
• A deep passion for technology and software development
• Excellent applied programming skills in Python, Rust, C++, or other major languages
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Smart, commercial, problem-solving-oriented, and able to get things done
• Proven track record of delivering robust, high-performance software
• Desirable: cloud engineering experience

Responsibilities:

• Be part of the team responsible for the major build-out and support of our platform
• Develop advanced bespoke SDLC tooling
• Work on distributed compute clusters in production
• Set up and optimize databases across multiple technologies
• Build debugging and profiling tools
• Develop monitoring and alerting solutions
• Provide engineering consultancy by helping other teams design and optimize their code
• Leverage market-standard tools and augment them with custom code and features to go beyond industry standards
