Store Detective

Salary: £35,360 - 35,360 per year

Requirements:

• We require an SIA Door Supervisor licence.
• We require experience as a Store Detective or at least 3 years of experience in Retail Security.
• We require strong communication and customer service skills.
• We require confidence using digital devices and paperless reporting systems.
• We require you to be aged 18 or over.
• We consider driving an advantage, as travel is required within a 20-mile radius.
• We want a confident communicator who is a team player and committed to providing a friendly, professional service.

Responsibilities:

• We deter threats and help ensure the safety and security of the premises at all times.
• We enforce company policy and support loss prevention efforts to safeguard customers, colleagues, and visitors.
• We create a warm and welcoming first impression for customers.
• We report incidents quickly using digital reporting platforms and escalate issues to in-store management.
• We build and maintain effective relationships with local security teams, Business Improvement Districts, and Police.
• We stay vigilant and proactive to detect and prevent shoplifting incidents.
• We support the de-escalation of incidents using conflict management techniques.
• We work various shifts as required.
• We travel within a 20-mile radius when needed.
