Solutions Architect

Salary: £10,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience as a Solutions Architect or Technical Architect delivering solutions within Defence or other secure government environments
• Strong background in designing and delivering enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions
• Technical architecture experience across software, infrastructure, and networking
• Experience in digital transformation and IT modernisation programmes
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
• Ability to produce high-level and low-level technical designs
• Experience leading technical engagement with senior stakeholders
• Experience taking ownership of architecture decisions and project delivery
• Experience mentoring technical teams or acting as technical lead on complex programmes
• Must currently hold active MOD Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car are highly desirable

Responsibilities:

• Produce high- and low-level solution designs
• Define technical architectures for cloud, infrastructure, and software solutions
• Gather and translate business and technical requirements
• Create technical Statements of Requirement (SoRs)
• Provide technical leadership across project delivery
• Advise customers on technology strategy and solution design
• Support deployments into secure public and private cloud environments, including AWS and Azure
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders
• Take ownership of key technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle

This is a hybrid role based in Corsham, with regular site travel expected depending on project requirements. We are looking for candidates based within commuting distance across the South West, and our customer site location makes a full UK driving licence and access to a car highly desirable.
