Solution Architect - ERP e-Commerce - Symfony/PHP

Salary: £63,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

• Senior technology professional with e-commerce solution architecture experience
• Experience supporting e-commerce technology projects
• Hands-on technology leadership experience
• Ability to review business requirements, technical design and proposed architecture
• Ability to identify material gaps, risks, dependencies and resource requirements
• Ability to consider longer-term technology direction and avoid unnecessary complexity
• Experience establishing robust technical governance

Responsibilities:

• Support a strategically important e-commerce technology project
• Work with our e-commerce and distribution group alongside our ERP and other business systems
• Provide senior, hands-on technology leadership for a new e-commerce/customer platform project already in development
• Review and validate our business requirements, technical design and proposed architecture
• Act as a senior technical sounding board for our Head of IT and development team
• Identify material gaps, risks, dependencies and resource requirements
• Ensure the approach supports our longer-term technology direction and does not add unnecessary complexity or constrain future options
• Establish robust technical governance and help drive the project through to successful delivery
