Software Product Owner

Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year

Requirements:

• Technical competency to have meaningful conversations with engineers
• Ability to prioritise tasks based on technical input, including effort, complexity and sustainability
• Understanding of how the product is integrated within the ecosystem of other products and departments
• Knowledge of a high-integrity development process and certification
• Basic understanding of technical complexity and effort drivers to differentiate between solutions
• Ability to structure work in collaboration tools and apply agile metrics

Responsibilities:

• Own the product vision, roadmap and backlog for our product area
• Translate strategic objectives into clear, prioritised work that maximises value
• Measure outcomes rather than outputs, using data to continuously improve the product
• Take accountability for product quality and delivery
• Build relationships across the organisation through credibility, transparency and consistent delivery
