Software Developer (.Net / Python)

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
• Experience with Entity Framework Core and MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Experience working on and improving production codebases
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including OOP, testing, debugging and clean code
• Proven experience owning and delivering a project end-to-end
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand the wider business problem
• An interest in or experience with data science, algorithms or statistical modelling
• Some experience with Python would be highly desirable
• Angular or React is nice to have
• AWS / cloud technologies is nice to have
• Linux and command-line tooling is nice to have
• Experience designing scalable, efficient algorithms is nice to have
• A strong mathematical or statistical background is nice to have

Responsibilities:

• We work across the full development lifecycle, from understanding the problem and designing the solution through to building, testing and deploying it into production
• We build and evolve our logistics software platform
• We work primarily with C#/.NET, Entity Framework Core and relational databases
• We collaborate across software engineering and data science
• We own projects from idea through to delivery
