Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Splunk in a SOC environment
• Experience with Cribl for log management and data pipeline optimisation
• Experience in security monitoring, threat detection and incident response
• Experience working within a security operations centre at a mid-senior level
• SC clearance held or the ability to pass

Responsibilities:

• Support the monitoring, detection and response to security threats across our organisations estate
• Work independently on complex security issues
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our SOC capability

We are hiring a SOC Engineer for our public sector client based in London on an initial 6-month contract, paying up to £450 per day outside IR35. This is a primarily remote role with occasional on-site visits to London. We offer the opportunity to work within a security operations function, supporting critical threat monitoring and response activity across the organisation.
