Senior User Research

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Significant experience delivering user research within digital transformation or service improvement programmes.
• Strong public sector or government experience is essential.
• Excellent understanding of GDS principles, Service Standards, and user-centred design.
• Experience delivering a range of qualitative research methods.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary Agile teams.
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design.

Responsibilities:

• Lead user research across Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live phases.
• Plan and conduct interviews, usability testing, workshops, and contextual research.
• Synthesise research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Support product, service, and delivery decisions through evidence-based research.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary Agile teams.
