Senior Mobile Automation Engineer

Salary: £117,000 - 117,000 per year

Requirements:

• Active SC Clearance.
• Strong commercial experience in mobile test automation.
• Proven experience testing both iOS and Android applications.
• Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
• API testing experience.
• End-to-end testing experience within agile delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

• Define and implement mobile automation testing strategies.
• Build, maintain and improve scalable automation frameworks.
• Drive quality engineering best practice across multiple teams.
• Deliver automated end-to-end, integration, regression and API testing.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, analysts and product stakeholders.
• Support and mentor other testers within the team.
• Champion continuous improvement across testing tools, processes and approaches.
• Influence engineering teams to adopt effective testing and quality practices.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Automation Engineer to join a large-scale digital programme, helping shape and deliver modern mobile testing practices across multiple product teams. We work closely with senior engineering and quality stakeholders to drive testing excellence, define automation strategy, and ensure high-quality mobile experiences across both iOS and Android platforms. This is a remote-first contract with occasional travel to London, offered outside IR35 at £450 per day, with an initial term through to 31 December 2026.
