Senior Linux Engineer

Salary: £64,000 - 104,000 per year

Requirements:

• Active security clearance
• Strong background in Linux engineering
• Experience supporting enterprise Linux platforms in public sector secure environments
• Extensive knowledge of system stability, performance, security, and troubleshooting across a range of Linux-based services
• Significant experience in delivering Linux-based development activities
• Experience building and maintaining development environments
• Experience containerising applications and services
• RHCSA - Red Hat Certified System Administrator (desirable)
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (desirable)
• LFCS - Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (desirable)

Responsibilities:

• Support enterprise Linux platforms in public sector secure environments
• Ensure system stability, performance, security, and troubleshoot Linux-based services
• Deliver Linux-based development activities including building and maintaining development environments
• Containerise applications and services as needed
