Senior IT Infrastructure & Systems Manager
Job Description
Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year
Requirements:- We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Manager with at least 7 to 10 years of experience.
- We need strong experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and systems administration.
- We require experience working with financial services, banking, trading, or treasury environments.
- We need proven experience managing mission-critical infrastructure and applications.
- We require experience operating in regulated and security-focused environments.
- We need strong technical expertise across Windows and Linux server environments, VMware virtualized infrastructure, Veeam backup and disaster recovery, Microsoft 365, endpoint security, and network administration.
- We require experience supporting enterprise applications and financial systems, including trading and treasury platforms.
- We need familiarity with cybersecurity tools and practices, including vulnerability management, SIEM, and SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management.
- We require experience supporting VIP stakeholders.
- We need someone able to work in a hybrid arrangement with 3 days in our Central London office.
- We oversee, manage, and continuously improve our IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, network environment, and end-user computing services.
- We ensure the availability, security, performance, and resilience of critical business systems.
- We lead technical teams and support key stakeholders across the organization.
- We administer, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux server environments.
- We manage VMware virtualized infrastructure.
- We oversee enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam ONE, and Veeam Recovery Orchestrator.
- We administer endpoint security and encryption solutions.
- We support endpoint DLP, SIEM, and security monitoring tools.
- We manage patching processes using ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus.
- We support Microsoft 365 services and related cloud technologies.
- We monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and infrastructure health.
- We ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and operational standards.
- We provide advanced desktop, laptop, printer, mobile device, and branch office IT support.
- We deliver AV support for meeting rooms, conferencing, presentations, and collaboration systems.
- We manage OS deployment, imaging, image creation, maintenance, and software packaging.
- We administer Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, user provisioning, and NTFS permissions.
- We support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- We resolve technical incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs.
- We support and administer business-critical applications and file synchronization and replication solutions.
- We configure and support Cisco switches and routers.
- We administer FortiGate firewall environments.
- We monitor network performance, availability, and security posture.
- We support vulnerability management, security monitoring, and log analysis tools.
- We perform SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management, including CSRs, certificate chains, and private keys.
- We ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- We support physical access control systems.
- We develop, maintain, and enforce IT policies, standards, and operational procedures.
- We produce system architecture diagrams, technical documentation, SOPs, and performance reports.
- We identify and drive opportunities for automation and service improvement.
- We support technology planning, infrastructure modernization, and transformation initiatives.

We are a London-based organization offering a senior IT infrastructure and systems role with some remote working possible. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of 55,000 to 60,000. The role sits within a complex enterprise environment covering financial, trading, and treasury systems, and it is a hybrid position with 3 days in our Central London office.
