Senior Integration Developer (IBM ACE / IIB)

Salary: £120,000 - 144,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need strong commercial experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE v12) or IBM Integration Bus (IIB v10).
• We need experience developing and supporting IBM MQ / WebSphere MQ solutions.
• We need strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with Oracle databases.
• We need experience working with Oracle database design.
• We need good knowledge of Linux (RHEL) environments.
• We need experience with XML and JSON message formats.
• We need a strong understanding of enterprise integration and messaging architecture.
• We need experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• We need the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and solution designs.
• We need strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SWIFT ISO 15022 and/or ISO 20022 messaging standards would be advantageous.
• Experience in financial services, banking, payments or capital markets would be advantageous.
• Experience with C# .NET, Java, C++, Linux shell scripting, REST APIs, or performance tuning would be advantageous.
• We need someone who is collaborative, self-motivated, organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• We design and develop integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• We produce detailed technical designs and program specifications from high-level functional requirements.
• We develop, test and deploy high-quality integration services and message flows.
• We configure and develop solutions using IBM MQ.
• We produce deployment documentation and automated deployment scripts.
• We create and execute unit and subsystem test plans.
• We support application integration and production deployments.
• We participate in code reviews, design reviews and technical discussions.
• We perform proof-of-concepts to validate solution designs and meet performance and throughput requirements.
• We troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
• We work collaboratively within Agile delivery teams to deliver solutions on time and to a high standard.

We are a highly skilled engineering team delivering and supporting enterprise integration and messaging solutions within a complex financial services environment. This is a senior role in London, UK, working in a hybrid pattern with 8 days onsite per month and the remainder remote. The engagement is umbrella company only, and the rate is £500 to £600 depending on experience and client requirements. We offer the opportunity to work on business-critical systems that support large-scale transaction processing in a collaborative, technically challenging environment.
