Senior Developer

Salary: £77,000 - 89,000 per year

Requirements:

• Current and active SC Clearance.
• Strong commercial experience as a Senior/Full Stack Developer.
• Strong Python and Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• JavaScript/TypeScript with React, Angular, or similar.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Docker/containerisation experience.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
• Previous UK Government/Public Sector experience.
• GDS experience.
• Terraform/CloudFormation experience.
• Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with serverless or event-driven AWS architecture.
• Experience working within secure or regulated environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and services.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python and Java.
• Build and deploy solutions within AWS cloud environments.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
• Produce clean, secure, and well-tested code.
• Support CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, Architecture, and Delivery teams.
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across applications and integrations.
• Ensure solutions meet security and public sector engineering standards.

We are offering an initial 3-month FTC for an SC Cleared Senior Full Stack Developer to join a public sector project. You will be working remotely across the UK within an established delivery team, designing and developing secure, scalable applications and services.
