Senior Data Scientist

Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Data Science.
• We require strong experience in machine learning, NLP, and LLM-based modeling.
• We require strong experience designing and running experiments, including model evaluation and iteration.
• We require strong coding skills in Python.
• We require experience with generative AI techniques such as prompt engineering and RAG.
• We require experience designing and evaluating hybrid search using embeddings and vector databases.
• We require experience designing agentic workflows and reasoning strategies, with hands-on experience applying agent frameworks such as Google ADK, LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen in real-world use cases.
• We require proficiency in data analysis tools.
• We require a strong foundation in statistics, modeling, and large-scale text processing.

Responsibilities:

• We develop and implement NLP, LLM, and generative AI approaches such as RAG, prompt strategies, and patent search.
• We define agentic workflows and reasoning strategies for multi-step IP tasks.
• We develop retrieval strategies, including hybrid search and evaluation metrics such as relevance and ranking quality.
• We analyse large-scale IP datasets to extract insights and improve model performance.
• We establish best practices for model evaluation, validation, and benchmarking.
• We translate experimental results into clear product recommendations and business impact.
• We collaborate with product, IP experts, and engineers to align solutions with user needs.
