Senior Application Engineer EDRMS

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Solid experience supporting, configuring, and enhancing enterprise applications such as SharePoint, Dynamics, or similar platforms
• Ability to solve moderately complex application-related issues and contribute to secure, scalable solutions
• Understanding of application lifecycle management, integration patterns, and secure-by-design principles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering and business teams
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
• Support, configuration, and enhancement of Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS)
• Management of document and records lifecycle, including ingestion, classification, retention, and disposal
• Configuration of document-driven workflows and case management processes
• Integration of EDRMS platforms with enterprise systems, including identity, line-of-business applications, and data sources
• Application lifecycle management, including deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning
• Integration patterns and identity management, such as SSO, RBAC, and API integration
• Secure-by-design principles and application security practices
• Technical problem solving and resolution of application-related issues
• Collaboration with engineering, service management, and business teams
• Experience supporting systems aligned to information governance and compliance requirements
• Delivery within enterprise, secure, or defence environments
• Experience with EDRMS platforms such as Hyland OnBase or similar
• Knowledge of records management standards, including retention policies, audit, and compliance
• Integration with enterprise systems such as SAP, CRM, and finance platforms
• Automation of document ingestion and classification, including OCR and metadata tagging
• Reporting and audit capabilities within document management systems
• Experience integrating with enterprise services such as Active Directory and identity platforms
• Exposure to DevOps and CI-CD practices
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments

Responsibilities:

• Support, configure, and enhance enterprise applications such as SharePoint, Dynamics, or other business-critical platforms
• Deliver engineering tasks within defined work packages, ensuring alignment with user needs, security requirements, and service-level objectives
• Contribute to application architecture, integration, and lifecycle activities under the guidance of senior engineers
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, service management, and business teams to resolve technical issues
• Mentor junior engineers and specialists, supporting their development and promoting best practices
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, documentation, and knowledge sharing
• Ensure compliance with engineering governance, ITSM processes, and cyber security policies
