Programme Service Design Lead

Salary: £137,500 - 150,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced Programme Service Design Lead to lead service and process design across a major transformation programme.
• Extensive experience leading service and process design within large-scale transformation programmes
• Proven expertise in end-to-end service design and business process re-engineering
• Experience designing As-Is, To-Be, and transition-state services and processes
• Strong knowledge of BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma, and L2-L4 process modelling frameworks
• Experience aligning service design to Target Operating Models (TOMs)
• Ability to balance governance, risk management, and delivery pace
• Strong planning, prioritisation, and workstream management skills
• Experience leading and developing multi-disciplinary onshore and offshore teams
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making capability in complex environments
• Experience defining process performance measures, benefits baselines, and benefits realisation approaches
• Knowledge of service design, process mapping, and business architecture tools
• Ability to establish high-performing teams and effective ways of working
• Strong communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• We will lead service and process design across a major transformation programme.
• We will define the service design approach and govern design standards.
• We will lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality As-Is, To-Be, and transition-state service designs.
• We will work closely with programme leadership and stakeholders.
• We will ensure services and processes support transformation objectives.
• We will deliver measurable business benefits and maintain service continuity.
• We will align services and processes with the target operating model.
• We will balance governance, risk management, and delivery pace.
• We will define process performance measures, benefits baselines, and benefits realisation approaches.
• We will establish high-performing teams and effective ways of working.
