Platform Architect

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong VMware experience (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi)
• Experience in architecture / design-led roles
• Proven background in infrastructure migrations or consolidation projects
• Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)
• Exposure to NSX or software-defined networking is advantageous
• Experience within multi-site or complex environments (desirable)
• Knowledge of hybrid/cloud environments (Azure/AWS) (desirable)
• Previous involvement in large-scale transformation projects (desirable)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of VMware environments across multiple sites
• Drive consolidation and migration of existing infrastructure into a central platform
• Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to shape technical direction
• Ensure scalability, performance and security across the environment
• Support delivery teams through implementation phases
