Oracle Cloud Engineer

Salary: £130,000 - 136,500 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer within large-scale enterprise programmes.
• Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security and infrastructure services.
• Experience supporting cloud migrations and deployments.
• Infrastructure as Code experience, with Terraform preferred.
• Experience working within complex or highly regulated environments.
• Active DV Clearance required.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and support cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Deploy and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
• Support cloud migration and transformation activities.
• Monitor performance, availability and security across cloud platforms.
• Work closely with architects, integration teams and functional consultants.
• Ensure cloud solutions align with security and governance requirements.

We are supporting a major public sector transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to help deliver a large-scale Oracle-based transformation across HR, Payroll and wider corporate services. This is a contract role outside IR35, offering £500-£525 per day for 6 months with high extension opportunity. The role is remote with ad-hoc trips to Milton Keynes when needed. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile transformation programme with a long-term roadmap and significant future extension potential.
