Monitoring Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need someone with strong observability and monitoring experience across technologies such as Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, APM, and SRE practices.
• We require a Dynatrace Associate Certification.
• We are looking for someone who can work on a contract basis in an Inside IR35 arrangement.
• We prefer experience supporting complex technical environments and live services.

Responsibilities:

• We design and implement monitoring and observability solutions.
• We configure and support Dynatrace, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
• We build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and visualisations.
• We deliver APM, infrastructure, synthetic, and log monitoring solutions.
• We support live services, incidents, and problem resolution.
• We analyse performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
• We work with architects and project teams to embed monitoring into new solutions.
• We drive SRE and observability best practices.
• We troubleshoot complex technical issues and document solutions.
• We support continuous improvement and monitoring tool optimisation.
• We collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We are offering a fully remote Monitoring Engineer contract opportunity with occasional travel to our office 1-2 days per month. The role is a 6-month rolling contract with pay of up to £580 per day, inside IR35. We also provide access to our Key Information Documents and additional role information through Huxley.
