Lead Functional Consultant (D365 F&O)

Salary: £95,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant.
• Solid R2R (Record to Report) process experience.
• Strong knowledge of key D365 finance modules, including AP, AR, GL, PMA, HR, Bank, and Budgets.
• Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams in enterprise-scale implementations or transformations.
• Solid understanding of integration patterns and data flows between D365 and external systems.
• Familiarity with the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ideally, a background in finance or strong finance knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Lead functional design and solution architecture discussions across the business.
• Analyse business processes and translate them into effective Dynamics 365 configurations and solutions.
• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including testing, training, and go-live support.
• Work independently and with autonomy alongside C-suite finance stakeholders to solve issues.
• Provide guidance on platform governance, data quality, release management, and system optimisation.
• Work efficiently within large, complex, multisystem organisations and navigate competing priorities.
• Work closely with QA teams to implement test plans.
