IT Support Technician

Salary: £40,000 - 72,000 per year

Requirements:

• Good general understanding of IT principles such as Networks, Hardware, and Domains
• Working knowledge of leading software packages such as MS Office and Lotus Notes
• Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and related software and applications
• Good experience in End User device hardware and software troubleshooting
• Knowledge of mobile devices, particularly Blackberry and iPhones
• Experience with building, configuring, replacing, and troubleshooting EUC hardware components
• Good experience in Data Backup Techniques
• Familiarity with virtual, MDM, and VPN environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM would be advantageous
• Knowledge of ITIL and experience of working within an ITIL environment
• Knowledge and experience of working in Service NOW
• Exceptional customer-facing skills
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with end users
• Accurate record keeping
• Good timekeeper
• Productive and efficient

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive deskside support for PCs, laptops, peripherals, and software
• Support printers as required
• Stage and prepare equipment for end users
• Maintain high-quality end-user computing (EUC) services during the contract period

We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Technician to join our team at our Mossmorran site. This is a fixed-term contract starting on March 2, 2026, and ending on May 29, 2026, where you will support the site primarily for two to three months. We offer a competitive pay rate of £150 per day. Our ideal candidate will have a logical and analytical approach, will be able to work independently, and will maintain a strong commitment to quality in service delivery.
