IT Manager

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Manager, ideally within professional services or a legal environment
• Strong knowledge of Partner for Windows (Tikit) or other legal practice case management systems
• Solid understanding of networks, servers, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity protocols
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and security
• Manage our IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
• Maintain and support our case management system: Partner for Windows (Tikit)
• Ensure availability, integrity, and performance of all IT systems, networks, and software
• Oversee regular system licences, upgrades, and backups
• Provide hands-on support for hardware and software issues across the firm
• Deliver Partner training and guidance to staff
• Act as the main point of contact for IT queries and incidents
• Monitor systems for threats and vulnerabilities and implement proactive security measures
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, legal industry regulations, and data protection laws
• Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Manage third-party vendors, including software providers, hardware suppliers, and IT consultants
• Lead IT projects including system migrations, software rollouts, and infrastructure improvements
• Manage our websites
• Arrange logins for new staff and provide IT onboarding training
• Perform other IT-related duties as required

We are a well-established and successful law firm based in Gravesend, Kent, offering a full-time, permanent, office-based IT Manager role with a salary of £45,000 plus benefits. This position is based in our Gravesend office and requires frequent travel to our other offices as needed.
