IT Director / Head of Technology

Salary: £90,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, including managing software development, IT infrastructure and information security while building and scaling teams.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications, software development and security technologies.
• Strong experience in web applications development (.NET).
• In-depth knowledge of Agile, SDLC, ITIL and COBIT frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations, information security standards and cyber risk management.
• Demonstrable experience leading digital transformation and systems integration projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration and diplomacy skills.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop our existing software solutions and systems.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, with a particular focus on cyber, AI and automation.
• Communicate our technical strategies, challenges and achievements.
• Evaluate and implement scalable architectural designs.
• Ensure robust data management to support performance management and strategic decision-making.
• Lead technical teams through agile development methodologies.
• Set and manage our technology budgets.
• Manage the full IT team, including future recruitment, development and retention of staff.
• Monitor system performance and reliability.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
