Infrastructure Engineer - Security Focus
Job Description
Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong background across servers, networks, and SAN/NAS storage
- Experience designing and maintaining secure hybrid infrastructure, with Azure experience preferred
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as Defender, Sentinel, Tenable, and Zscaler
- Palo Alto deployment and configuration experience is essential
- Good understanding of firewalls, network protocols, and intrusion prevention
- Ability to manage vulnerability scanning, incident response, and remediation
- Confident communication skills and solid documentation skills
- Help design, maintain, and secure a mix of on-premise and Azure environments
- Work across servers, networks, storage, and security tools
- Contribute to infrastructure projects and cyber security initiatives
- Support vulnerability management, incident response, and the enhancement of security controls
- Collaborate with group security teams to keep systems resilient and up to date
- Take ownership of both infrastructure and cyber security activities in a varied technical environment

We are a growing global organisation of 45,000 and counting, offering a hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer role based in Birmingham on a hybrid pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
