Industry Lead

Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in background screening or identity verification
• Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to Hospitality, Education, and Care, or the ability to learn them quickly
• Confident public speaking skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across Product, Compliance, Sales & Marketing, and senior leadership
• Excellent written communication skills
• Experience representing an organisation on industry bodies or trade associations is desirable
• Familiarity with DBS, RTW, or DVS regulatory frameworks is desirable
• Experience working with or managing supplier relationships is desirable
• Relevant experience may include product, compliance, or account management roles in Background Screening, HR Tech, or Identity, or a similar industry relations role in an adjacent market

Responsibilities:

• Represent our businesses on relevant identity and background screening industry bodies, gathering intelligence and maintaining visibility
• Track regulatory developments affecting the Hospitality, Education, and Care sectors
• Coordinate and channel feedback from industry bodies
• Liaise with suppliers to understand market and industry shifts affecting our businesses or customers
• Summarise regulatory and market changes for the wider business
• Work with Product, Compliance, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of regulatory changes
• Attend supplier reviews with relevant stakeholders and communicate our requirements to partners
• Work with Sales & Marketing to keep customer-facing content current
• Support partner-facing updates on key regulatory and market changes
• Lead webinars and thought leadership activity for partners, direct clients, and group clients
• Work with the MD and Leadership Team to incorporate regulatory and market intelligence into our long-term strategy, including vendor and partner selection
