Job Description

Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator with at least two years of practical Salesforce administration experience.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Flow, reporting, data management, and integrations.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft 365 and workplace technology.
  • Strong interest in AI and its practical application in business.
  • Commercial mindset, with the ability to understand business problems and develop practical technology solutions.
  • Comfortable working hands-on and directly with users across the business.
  • Desirable: Experience with Agentforce or other Salesforce AI products.
  • Desirable: Experience administering Slack Enterprise and Salesforce/Slack integrations.
  • Desirable: Experience in a sales-led B2B environment.
  • Curious about technology and business operations, with a willingness to learn, experiment, and continually improve systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Own and develop our Salesforce environment, including Flow, custom objects, reporting, data, users, permissions, and integrations.
  • Understand our commercial and operational processes and translate business requirements into practical, scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Administer Slack Enterprise and develop its integration with Salesforce.
  • Lead the ongoing development of Agentforce for Sales, Slackbot, and practical AI use across our business.
  • Work with teams across our business to identify opportunities to improve processes through Salesforce.
  • Manage and review our connected Salesforce ecosystem, including Natterbox, SalesScreen, SalesSign, Own, Validity, and Commercient.
  • Manage and review our sales enablement and digital tools, monitor usage and costs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and oversee user access, licences, and system onboarding and offboarding.
  • Oversee laptops, office technology, networking, Wi-Fi, and other workplace hardware.
  • Maintain appropriate security, access controls, and MFA across our systems.
  • Manage external IT, hardware, telecoms, and technology suppliers as required.
  • Provide practical IT support where appropriate and work with external partners on specialist issues.

We are seeking a hands-on, commercially minded Head of Business Systems & IT to own our core business systems and wider technology environment, with Salesforce as the primary focus. The role reports to our Managing Director/CEO and is based in Norwich, with hybrid working available after an agreed period. Working hours are flexible Monday to Friday, to be agreed. The salary is £45,000–£55,000, depending on experience.
