Salary: £57,000 - 97,000 per year

Requirements:
  • 12-15 years of progressive DevOps leadership experience in complex enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated success establishing DevOps operating models and driving organizational transformation
  • Advanced-level expertise with Azure DevOps, including process template management and customization
  • Establishing and enforcing ways of working
  • Leading Communities of Practice
  • Building complex queries and custom dashboards
  • Implementing integrations and extensions
  • Managing organizational-level configurations
  • Expert-level knowledge of Datadog observability platform, including full-stack monitoring and distributed tracing
  • Log aggregation, APM, and infrastructure monitoring
  • Synthetic monitoring and alerting strategies
  • Ability to enable teams in Datadog adoption
  • Strong understanding of IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep)
  • Deep knowledge of CI/CD principles and deployment strategies
  • Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
  • Solid grasp of SRE principles and implementation patterns
  • Exceptional influencing and organizational skills
  • Polished, executive-level communication skills for interactions with C-suite, senior leadership, stakeholders, peers, and vendors
  • Culturally sensitive and globally minded with experience across diverse cultures and time zones
  • Ability to manage multiple competing demands while maintaining strategic focus
  • Relevant certifications (Azure DevOps Expert, Azure Solutions Architect, Datadog certifications)
  • Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies at scale
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks (ITIL)
  • Experience with AIOps platforms and practices
Responsibilities:
  • Establish and scale the Global DevOps practice across Flight Centre Travel Groups technology landscape
  • Lead distributed teams globally, championing automation and operational excellence
  • Drive transformational change across the organization
  • Influence at all organizational levels to promote DevOps principles
  • Implement best practices for DevOps operating models
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
