Full Stack Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a technical field
• Solid experience developing software across web applications and backend services
• Legal authorisation to work in the UK
• Ability to work in person at our Edinburgh city centre office two days per week
• Strong foundational skills in at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Golang, Python, C, C++, Rust, or Java
• Experience developing web applications with a JavaScript/TypeScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Industry experience as a Software Engineer, full stack or otherwise
• Experience with cloud environments and infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with, or interest in, AI-assisted tools in a modern development workflow
• Passion for building reliable software experiences that deliver value to end users

Responsibilities:

• Build responsive, high-performance web applications using modern TypeScript frameworks to deliver real-time video and analytics data
• Work with product designers and engineering leads to turn complex security workflows into intuitive user interfaces
• Improve frontend reliability, state management, and performance across distributed client environments
• Design, implement, and maintain resilient APIs and microservices
• Contribute to the architecture of a highly scalable solution
• Take ownership of components and support other teams that use our services
• Automate work throughout the software development lifecycle to uphold software quality
• Participate in technical design discussions, peer code reviews, and CI/CD pipeline improvements
