Front End Developer – Options Trading Team - London

Salary: £36,000 - 76,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript, including component-based architecture, state management, and modern front-end tooling.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement clean, user-friendly interfaces and workflows, with attention to usability and visual clarity.
• Experience building data-heavy UIs using advanced grid and charting components such as AG Grid and AM5 Charts.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and browser performance.
• Ability to work independently, engage directly with end users, and own features from requirements gathering through design, implementation, and iteration.
• An interest in markets and trading, such as personal or PA trading, prior exposure to trading environments, or building tools for data-driven decision making.
• Experience building tools for data analysis, monitoring, or decision support, particularly involving time series, tabular data, or complex dashboards.
• Comfort reading and interacting with Python-based back-end code and data pipelines for integration purposes.

Responsibilities:

• We design and implement front-end applications such as trading dashboards, risk and monitoring tools, and research interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• We own the end-to-end UX standards for key tools, collaborating directly with traders and quants to translate workflows into clean, intuitive interfaces and interaction patterns.
• We develop and maintain rich, interactive data visualisations and tables, with a focus on clarity, usability, and performance.
• We standardise and consolidate existing internal web tools into a cohesive, consistent, and maintainable UI ecosystem, reducing friction and context-switching for end users.
• We collaborate closely with traders and quants to build best-in-class interfaces for options trading.
• We own UI projects end to end, from requirements gathering through design, implementation, and iteration.
