ERP Technical Consultant

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong SQL skills
• Strong JavaScript skills
• Java experience, ideally
• Experience delivering technical software solutions
• Experience developing or customising ERP software within a manufacturing, distribution or operational environment, ideally
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
• Confidence to deal directly with customers
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong organisation and project-management skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside functional consultants to deliver enhancements, bespoke development and customisations within our ERP solution
• Engage directly with customers, analyse their requirements, and produce technical specifications
• Deliver ERP enhancements and bespoke customisations
• Develop solutions using SQL, JavaScript and Java
• Configure workflows
• Complete user-interface modifications
• Update XML configuration files
• Write reports
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Develop and deliver technical training
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems
• Advise customers on technical best practice
• Manage several customer projects simultaneously
