DV Cleared - Platform Engineer – Azure | Azure Arc | XDR | Windows & Linux

Requirements:

• Strong Microsoft Azure administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Arc and Azure Monitor Agent (AMA).
• Experience deploying and supporting XDR/EDR solutions such as Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Cortex XDR or similar.
• Windows Server and Linux administration experience.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and networking fundamentals.
• PowerShell and/or Bash scripting experience.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and infrastructure monitoring.
• Desirable: Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Desirable: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Intune or SCCM.
• Desirable: Experience working within large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and support Azure Arc-enabled servers across Windows and Linux.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Azure Monitor Agent (AMA).
• Deploy, upgrade and maintain XDR/EDR security agents across enterprise environments.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and security using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux environments, including patching and security hardening.
• Support Azure networking, hybrid cloud services and infrastructure automation using PowerShell and Bash.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, monitoring and endpoint security issues while driving continuous improvement.

We are a highly reputable government-backed organisation hiring a DV-cleared Platform Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale hybrid infrastructure across Azure and on-premises environments. This is a 6-month contract based in Milton Keynes or London, working onsite 3 days per week, with a rate of up to £630 per day inside IR35. You will work closely with our Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams to improve platform visibility, security and operational resilience across business-critical services.
