DevOps Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong experience in several of the following areas: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, production and non-production environment support, Node.js, JavaScript, troubleshooting containerised applications, and platform reliability and operational resilience
- Valid SC Clearance is required
- Experience supporting Node.js applications would be particularly valuable
- Support and improve the delivery and operation of a containerised application environment
- Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Support application deployments across production and non-production environments
- Manage and troubleshoot OpenShift and Kubernetes environments
- Automate operational and deployment processes
- Improve platform reliability, resilience, security and performance
- Support the efficient release of new software capabilities
- Investigate and resolve application and environment issues
- Contribute to technical scoping, estimation and delivery planning
- Promote DevOps best practices across the wider programme
- Work closely with development teams to deliver secure, scalable and maintainable solutions

We are a leading technology consultancy recruiting for an SC Cleared DevOps Engineer to join our team on an exciting programme delivering new capabilities and enhancements to a bespoke Node.js application. This is a permanent hybrid role based in Cheltenham, with onsite attendance required two to three days per week. The salary is £75,000 to £85,000 plus benefits, including a travel allowance to cover agreed travel expenses.
