DevOps Engineer

Requirements:

• Strong experience across most of the following technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Linux, Amazon RDS, Bitbucket, Grafana, Prometheus and Kibana, CI/CD pipeline management and automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with cloud platform support.
• Experience with Vault or similar secrets management tools would be highly advantageous.
• Experience with CI/CD migration projects would be highly advantageous.
• Active SC clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Kubernetes-based environments.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, including migration projects.
• Deploy applications into test and production environments.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Manage AWS infrastructure including RDS, Lambda and S3.
• Support Docker and Helm deployments.
• Monitor platform health using Grafana, Prometheus and Kibana.
• Manage Linux infrastructure.
• Administer secrets management and security certificates.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and platform issues.
• Work closely with development and platform teams to improve automation and operational resilience.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing delivery team supporting critical public sector services. This is a remote contract role with occasional travel to Croydon, offered on an initial 3-month basis with extensions likely. We work on large-scale secure cloud platforms in AWS, using modern DevOps tooling and Kubernetes-based environments, with automation, scalability and continuous improvement at the heart of delivery. The role is inside IR35 and offers up to £500 per day.
