Salary: £59,988 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Debugger, Software Engineer, QA Engineer, or similar technical role.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience using debugging tools and development environments.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles.
• Ability to read and understand code.
• Experience investigating software defects and technical issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical teams.
• Technical skills desirable:
• Programming languages: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, C++.
• Experience with Visual Studio Debugger, IntelliJ IDEA Debugging Tools, Git / GitHub, Jira, SQL troubleshooting, API testing tools, and log analysis tools.
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Key competencies: problem solving, root cause analysis, attention to detail, logical thinking, collaboration, time management, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate, reproduce, and resolve software defects and system issues.
• Analyse error logs, crash reports, and debugging information.
• Work closely with developers to identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Perform code-level debugging and troubleshooting.
• Support testing teams by investigating failed test cases.
• Document bugs, fixes, and technical solutions.
• Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
• Assist with software releases and deployment troubleshooting.
• Improve debugging processes and development workflows.
